FAQs
Is it hard to rent a dumpster?
No. With our straightforward ordering process, ordering a dumpster is as simple as reaching out. We'll ask about your project, then recommend a container to fit your needs. Give us detailed placement instructions and we'll put the dumpster where you asked on your delivery date. Just clean at your own pace and reach out when you're ready for pickup.
How many days does it take to get a dumpster?
Our standard delivery timeframe is within five business days of placing your order. However, we'll let you know our earliest delivery date, which could be as early as the next day. Keep in mind that our inventory determines how far out we're scheduling deliveries, so it's best to reach out a few days before you need the container to ensure we have what you need, when you want it.
How do I fit a dumpster rental into my budget?
Our upfront pricing makes budgeting for your rental easy. We'll provide a free quote when you reach out that bundles the costs associated with your rental into one price. This lets you plan with confidence that the price we give is the price you'll pay — no built-in wiggle room needed for hidden fees charged after your order.
What items can’t go inside a dumpster in Detroit?
As you fill your dumpster, keep in mind that flammable, toxic and hazardous items are always prohibited. Local landfills may have additional restrictions, but we'll go over those when you place your order. Keep in mind there are a number of landfills in the area, so we may be able to find one that will accept your items.
Learn more about prohibited items, or give our team a call at 313-263-4774.
Where does dumpster trash go?
We take your debris to a number of locations in Detroit, with the Metropolitan Transfer Center, located at 6451 East McNichols Road, one we use quite often.
What type of permit do I need for street placement?
In Detroit, you'll need to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit if you plan on placing the dumpster in the street.
Keep in mind, permits cost money. So, if your driveway is available, consider placing the dumpster there as a free option that doesn't require a permit.
What happens if I still need the dumpster but my rental period is finished?
If our inventory allows it, you may be able to keep the container longer at a daily rate. Just reach out.
How do I load my dumpster?
When loading a dumpster, ensure all debris is placed inside the container. Do not leave anything hanging over the sides or sticking out the top of the dumpster. This could delay your waste pickup because drivers cannot haul overloaded dumpsters.
