FAQs
How do I rent a dumpster?
The first — and most important — step in renting a dumpster is reaching out to us. We'll ask about your project and recommend a container size. Then, we'll complete your order by getting you scheduled for delivery on a day that works with your cleanup. Simply load the bin when it arrives and reach out when you're ready for pickup.
Get ready for delivery by using our simple guide to renting dumpsters.
Can I request an exact delivery date?
Yes, we do our best to accommodate deliveries on the dates requested. However, our container availability determines when our earliest delivery may be. We recommend reaching out a few days before your project starts to ensure the dumpster you want is available.
Are dumpster rentals budget-friendly?
Our bundled rates give you a total price right away, making it simple to budget accordingly for your rental. We combine the costs of delivery, pickup, a covered weight limit and your rental period into one price. Keep in mind if you toss prohibited items or go over your weight limit, you may be charged an additional fee by the landfill.
Is it difficult to get a permit?
Obtaining a permit in Las Vegas is as simple as reaching out to the Department of Parking & Transportation. Keep in mind you only need to apply if you want the dumpster placed in the public right-of-way, such as a street. Driveway placement requires no permit.
Where does my trash go?
We use a variety of landfills and transfer stations in Vegas, but most of your trash is taken to the Apex Regional Landfill, located at 13550 Las Vegas Boulevard North.
Why do landfills not accept prohibited items?
Some items are dangerous to the environment and the landfill. For instance, chemical cleaners can seep into the soil and eventually find their way into water supplies, and tires can collect gasses that may lead to landfill fires. As a result, flammable, toxic and hazardous waste are prohibited in our dumpsters nationwide. There may be additional items we can't accept, but we'll talk through any restricted items when you place your order.
What dumpster size is most popular?
Our most rented dumpster size is a 20 yard roll off container. This size is great for a wide range of projects and accepts most waste types, from household junk to heavy debris like cement and dirt.
How can I avoid overage charges?
Your rental agreement includes a generous tonnage. However, if you exceed that weight, the landfill typically charges a rate per ton. We’ll help you choose the right dumpster size to handle your debris when you reach out.
