Dumpsters.com & Extreme Community Makeover Partner for a Third Year

At Dumpsters.com, we believe that a clean community is a stronger community. Through our donation program, we're proud to support organizations like Extreme Community Makeover (ECM) by providing the dumpsters that help make neighborhood revitalization projects possible. We're honored to support ECM’s mission of bringing people together to create cleaner, safer neighborhoods across Denver for a third year.

ECM has empowered volunteers to make a lasting impact through hands-on community service. By supplying the tools, resources and organization needed for every Work Day, ECM makes it easy for volunteers from businesses, schools, sports teams, religious organizations, families and the local community to get involved. Beyond picking up litter and removing unwanted debris, these projects create meaningful connections between neighbors and volunteers while strengthening the communities they serve.

At every cleanup, the dumpster becomes a central gathering point where volunteers work together toward a common goal. From yard waste and litter to bulky items like broken furniture, every load helps create cleaner public spaces and stronger neighborhoods — one Work Day at a time.

This year, we were proud to provide waste disposal services for three of ECM’s impactful workdays:

Barnum Neighborhood Clean Up: ECM kicked off the 2026 Work Day season with 65 volunteers from 4 groups coming together to improve the Barnum neighborhood. Their efforts resulted in 6 completed community projects, 5 cleaned alleys and 1 adopted block, demonstrating the impact volunteers can make when they work together toward a common goal.

West Colfax Neighborhood Clean Up: 50 volunteers from 2 groups joined forces to revitalize the West Colfax neighborhood by cleaning 10 alleys. With the support of a Dumpsters.com dumpster on-site, volunteers were able to dispose of litter and bulky debris efficiently, helping keep the cleanup organized and allowing the team to make a meaningful impact throughout the day.

Westwood Neighborhood Clean Up: As part of the annual Real Estate Day, 25 volunteers from 5 groups came together to complete 5 home improvement projects throughout the Westwood neighborhood. Their collective efforts helped improve local homes while showcasing the lasting impact of community partnerships and volunteer service.
