What is the dumpster delivery window?
We try to get you a dumpster within five business days of your order. However, our timeline can be impacted by the number of containers we have available at the time. We recommend calling a few days before you start your project so you get a container when you need it.
How is my dumpster price determined?
Your total dumpster cost is determined by the materials you toss, how long you keep the container and local facility and disposal fees. We'll go over these costs and and quote you a bundled rate before you place an order.
Do I need to get a permit from the city?
You'll typically need a permit if you plan to place the dumpster in a public right-of-way, such as a street or sidewalk. Contact Allentown for more information on how to apply for an Encroachment Permit. If you plan on placing the container on your driveway or anywhere else on private property, you do not need a permit
Where does my dumpster’s trash go?
The waste in Allentown is taken to several landfills in the area including the Bethlehem Landfill, located at 2335 Applebutter Road in Bethlehem. The next closest landfills are the American Containers & Disposal and the Chrin Bros. Sanitary Landfill.
What items are allowed in a dumpster?
We accept household junk, such as old furniture and appliances, and yard waste, including tree stumps. We can also deliver front load dumpsters to accommodate daily waste needs at your business. Accepted items for roll off and front load containers will vary by dumpster size and location.
Will you automatically pick up my dumpster at the end of my service date?
We will not pick up your dumpster until you let us know you're ready. There will be an additional daily fee if you keep your container past its rental period, but we'll share this information when you get in touch to set up an order.
Is a dumpster rental easier than bulk pickup?
Yes, typically a dumpster rental is easier than bulk pickup. Many cities only do curbside collections once a month and they limit the amount you can toss at one time. A dumpster rental allows you to dispose of junk as you work and we'll haul it away when you're done so you don't have to make multiple trips to the landfill.
