FAQs
Is it hard to rent a dumpster?
No, just reach out to our team and tell us what you're tossing. Then, select a bin size with our help and schedule a delivery date. When the bin arrives, load up your debris and let us know when you're finished — it's that easy.
How do I pick a spot for my dumpster?
We recommend placing your bin in a spot that is accessible and near your project location so you can easily toss debris. Typically, it's best to place the dumpster on a driveway since you don't need a permit for placement on private property.
Do dumpster rentals require a permit?
Dumpster rentals only require a permit if you place the bin in a public area, like a walkway or street. If you choose to put the container there, you'll need to apply for an Encroachment Permit with the city. A permit isn't required if the bin is on your property.
Will my delivery driver have my contact information?
Your driver may call to notify you that they are 10-15 minutes away to give you a heads-up. If you would like a call, let us know at the time of your order and our team will make a note. Just keep in mind that this depends on the hauler delivering your dumpster.
What happens if somebody else tosses a prohibited item in my dumpster?
You will be charged a contamination fee if the item isn't removed, regardless of who tossed the item. We recommend covering your dumpster with a tarp and placing it in a well-lit area to discourage anyone from tossing prohibited items.
