FAQs
Should I rent a dumpster for my project?
Renting a dumpster is a great option for bulk waste cleanouts, renovations or landscaping jobs. Get in touch with our team and we'll help you choose a dumpster size for your junk. Just let us know where you want the container placed, work at your own pace and contact us for pickup when you're done.
Do I have to be there for my dumpster delivery?
No. We'll take detailed placement instructions when you place your order so our driver knows where to place the bin. Just make sure the area is clear of debris and obstructions like wires or tree branches — you can even mark the spot with cones so the driver knows where to place the container.
What costs should I expect with a dumpster rental?
Our bundled rate includes the costs of delivery, pickup, local facility fees, service dates and a covered weight limit. When you reach out to place an order, we'll share these details so you know what's going to be on your invoice. Please keep in mind that if you overfill the dumpster or toss a prohibited item, you may be charged an additional fee.
Do I need a dumpster permit from the city?
A permit is typically required if the container is placed on the street, sidewalk or anywhere that is not private property. Reach out to the city of Cleveland's Public Works Department to apply for a permit. Depending on where you're located, we may need proof of a valid permit before we can deliver your container or require the permit to be displayed on the dumpster while in use.
The easiest way to avoid having to obtain a permit is to place the bin on your property.
Where does my trash go?
Much of the trash in Cleveland is taken to the Bradley County Landfill, located at 282 Natures Trail.
What happens if I toss a prohibited item?
We can't pick up the dumpster until the prohibited item is removed, which will result in a failed trip fee. If we do pick up the dumpster without knowing about the item, the landfill may charge a contamination fee. In this case, you'll receive a separate invoice for the charge. Don't worry — we’ll be sure to review these details with you when you set up your order.
How do I know what my debris weighs?
We'll ask questions about what you're tossing to help gauge the weight of your debris. This lets us suggest the right size bin for the job. You can also use our dumpster weight calculator to get an estimate.
