Do I need to contact the city before placing a dumpster in my driveway?
If the dumpster is in your driveway, the city doesn't need any notification. However, if you'd like to take advantage of the public right-of-way like a street or alleyway, you'll need to contact the city of Flint for a Right-of-Way Permit.
