FAQs
Can I rent a dumpster myself?
Yes, renting a dumpster is stress-free when you work with us. Get in touch and tell us about your project. We'll suggest a dumpster size for the mess and provide you with a quote to keep your budget in check. Just tell us where you'd like the dumpster placed and make sure the area is clear for drop-off. Let us know when you're done and we'll pick up the bin.
What if I have a narrow driveway?
We have a variety of dumpster sizes to fit in most narrow driveways. Tell us the measurements at the time of your order so we can make sure the drop-off is seamless. If the bin is too big, we recommend using plywood boards to indicate a spot in your yard that's near the cleanup or getting a city permit to have the dumpster placed in a public right-of-way, like a street or sidewalk.
How am I billed for my dumpster rental?
We'll provide you with a bundled quote that covers the cost of delivery, pickup, a rental period and a covered weight limit. If you overfill the container or toss a prohibited item, you will receive an additional invoice via email detailing those charges. Don't worry — we'll go over these details when you reach out.
Where can I find what isn’t allowed in my dumpster?
When you place an order, we'll tell you what isn't allowed in the dumpster. We'll also include the list in the invoice that's emailed to you.
Where does dumpster trash go?
We take your trash to a number of Memphis landfills, including the Tipton County Landfill, located at 9051 Highway 51 South in Brighton, the Fayette County Landfill and the South Shelby Landfill.
Is it difficult to get a permit?
No, simply reach out to the city of Memphis Engineering Department to get a permit if you have to place the dumpster in a public right-of-way. Keep in mind you don't need a permit to place a dumpster on private property, like your driveway.
When is a dumpster helpful?
Renting a dumpster helps with getting rid of unwanted junk from just about any project, big or small. No matter what stage of life you're in — dumpsters are a convenient way to toss a lot of debris at one time.
Do I need to be on-site when you deliver the dumpster?
No, we'll take detailed delivery instructions when you reach out. That way, our driver will place the bin right where you want it — no need to be there when it arrives. Please just ensure there are no obstructions where you would like the container placed.
