FAQs
What's included in my dumpster rental rate?
We bundle everything that goes with your roll off container into one upfront rate. Your total price includes delivery, pickup, your rental period, disposal costs, gas and transportation.
Do I need a permit for my roll off dumpster?
Typically, you don't need a permit if you're keeping your roll off container on your property or jobsite. If you need to keep your bin on the street, get a Permit to Excavate/Occupy the Public Right of Way ahead of time. Check with the Municipality of Princeton's Engineering Department for permitting information.
What can I expect after I order?
Your dumpster will arrive on the date you selected, but the timing may vary. You don’t have to be on-site, just make sure the delivery spot is clear. If you need to reschedule, order another dumpster or request pickup, visit our Service Dashboard.
Are there any materials that can't go in my dumpster?
Most materials can be placed in our Princeton roll off containers, but some prohibited items must never be disposed of in a dumpster. Electronics, such as TVs and computers, should be recycled instead. Hazardous, toxic and flammable waste is not accepted because it poses serious safety and environmental risks.
Certain materials in Princeton require additional precautions. Mattresses and box springs need to be wrapped in plastic or placed in a mattress bag before disposal. If you're getting rid of dirt from a construction site, testing may be required before it is accepted. Local regulations may also apply to yard waste like tree stumps.
How much does a dumpster rental cost in Princeton?
The cost to rent a dumpster usually ranges from $427 to $1,140, but factors like the kind of debris, how much you're tossing and where you’re located will determine your exact rate. Find your price online instantly or contact us for a custom quote.

Not a smooth experience
My initial problem below was eventually remedied. The dumpster was placed in the wrong location on Friday, they said they would move it on Monday, they showed up to move it on Wednesday morning. When I first called I asked for a 20 foot dumpster. When I described the job I was told I should get a 10 foot, I decided on the 15 because the 10 didn't seem like enough. In the end I definitely needed the 20 foot but to get the 15 foot dumped and returned was an extra $400 so now I have a completely full dumpster and everything else is going in bags. Besides the first person I spoke with who gave me the bad advice and the person who aggressively tried to make me pay for their mistake I spoken to many people at dumpster.com who have been very kind and helpful. If I had gotten the 20 foot dumpster I initially wanted and they had put it in the right place it would have been 5star service but it's been a huge hassle having to call or text multiple times a day for almost a week now. Original post that was eventually remedied: Trying to charge for their mistake. I was supposed to have a dumpster delivered in my driveway. The drivers placed it on the street instead (which I would need a permit for). Parker, from Dumpsters.com is telling me there was a car in the driveway and they had to place it on the street because they need up to 60 feet to place the dumpster. The car is 72 feet away from the end of the driveway. They want to charge me $195 because their drivers put it in the wrong place. The way Parker is communicating with me is belittling. Addendum: the driver who eventually moved the dumpster was awesome and very skilled. He used less than half of my driveway to get it into the right spot.
