FAQs
Can I rent a dumpster myself?
Yes, simply reach out to get started. We'll help you decide on a dumpster size, then provide an upfront quote and schedule delivery. Just fill the bin when it arrives and reach out when you're ready for collection.
Get ready for your dumpster delivery with our simple guide to renting dumpsters.
How long does it take for my dumpster to arrive?
We can usually deliver your dumpster within five business days. However, exact time frames are based on container availability when you order. We'll let you know the earliest delivery date when you contact us.
Are dumpster rentals budget-friendly?
We take all the costs from your rental and bundle them into one upfront price. This lets you budget with confidence, knowing that the price you're quoted will be on your invoice. Our bundled rates include fixed rates, like rental period and weight limit, as well as fluctuating expenses, like fuel prices, disposal fees and landfill charges.
Do I need to get a permit?
A permit is not needed if you choose to place the bin on private property. A permit is only required if the container is placed on the street, sidewalk or anywhere that is not private property. Reach out to the city of Charleston to apply for an Encroachment Permit.
Do you take the dumpster to a landfill?
We take most Charleston area trash to the Bees Ferry Landfill, located at 1344 Bees Ferry Road. We also may use the Carolina Landfill (355 Harrison Road in Dorchester).
What happens if I toss a hazardous item in my dumpster?
If you toss a prohibited item, you will be invoiced a contamination fee via email. Don't worry — we'll go over any restrictions when you order.
How can I avoid overage charges?
Your rental agreement includes a generous tonnage. If you exceed that weight, the landfill typically charges a rate per ton and you'll be invoiced an additional fee. However, we’ll help you choose the right dumpster size to handle your debris when you order.
How long can I rent a dumpster?
Our standard rental period is 7 to 10 days, but the amount of time can vary based on location. Let us know how long you'll need the container when you reach out and we'll help you form a timeline to get the job done.
