Am I allowed to have a dumpster in my driveway?
Yes, a driveway is a good option for placement because it doesn't require a permit and is near most project locations. However, if you choose to put your dumpster in a public right-of-way, like an alleyway or street, you'll need a permit from the City Engineer.
What items are allowed in a dumpster?
Our dumpsters accept a variety of trash, including household junk, yard waste and most construction debris. Keep in mind that accepted items vary depending on your location. Don't worry — we'll cover this when you order.
How do I load my dumpster?
Start by opening the swinging door and walking heavier items in, then tossing the light-weight debris over the sides. Just remember to not leave anything hanging over the sides or sticking out the top of the dumpster.
How am I invoiced for my dumpster?
You'll receive an email with your bundled rate that combines the costs of delivery, pickup, disposal and a rental period. Keep in mind you may receive a second invoice if you toss a prohibited item or exceed the weight limit.
What size dumpster should I rent?
The container size you need depends on the type and amount of junk you're tossing. Our most-rented dumpster size is a 20 yard roll off container. This size is great for a wide range of projects and accepts most waste types. Plus, it has dimensions small enough to fit in an average driveway.
