FAQs
How do I rent a dumpster?
Simply start by reaching out. We'll ask about your project and what you're tossing to help recommend a dumpster size to fit the job. Then, we'll schedule delivery on a date that works with your timeline. Just load your waste when the bin arrives and reach out when you're ready for us to haul it away.
How long does it take for my dumpster to arrive?
Our standard delivery time frame is within five business days of receiving your order. Keep in mind that our dates are impacted by dumpster availability, so it's best to reach out a few days before your project's start date to ensure you get a bin on time.
What's included in my dumpster rate?
We take all the standard costs of a dumpster rental and bundle them into an upfront rate. These include fixed costs, like disposal fees, weight limits and your rental period, as well as fluctuating prices, like landfill charges, gas and transportation fees.
Do dumpster rentals require a permit?
It depends on where you want the dumpster placed. For private property, no permits are needed. If you want the bin in a public location, like the street or sidewalk, you'll need to visit the city of Cleveland website to find out more.
Where does my trash go?
Most trash in Cleveland is taken to the Ridge Road Transfer Station, located at 3727 Ridge Road. The next closest landfills are Boyas Excavating C&D Landfill and the Silver Oak Landfill.
Are there any materials that cannot go in my dumpster?
Our Cleveland area dumpsters can handle a lot of trash, but environmental regulations prohibit flammable, toxic and hazardous waste. Those items could result in landfill fires and waste seepage that can get into natural water sources. Area facilities may have additional restrictions — we'll go over those when you place an order.
What dumpster size is most popular?
Our 20 yard roll off dumpster is rented most often. It's a great size for most projects and accepts most waste types, from heavy debris to household junk.
How can I avoid overage charges?
Your rental agreement includes a generous tonnage. However, if you exceed that weight, the landfill typically charges a rate per ton. We’ll help you choose the right dumpster size to handle your debris when you order.
Check out our dumpster weight calculators for a general idea of what your debris weighs.
