FAQs
Can I rent a dumpster myself?
Yes, it's easy — just reach out by calling 321-800-2570 or ordering online and tell us what you're tossing. We'll recommend a dumpster size for the job and provide an upfront, bundled quote. Schedule delivery, load the bin when it arrives and let us know when you're ready for pickup.
Can I request an exact delivery time?
Due to the potential for landfill diversion, traffic delays and unpredictable weather conditions, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. However, our drivers use the detailed placement instructions you provided at the time of your order to deliver the bin right where you want it, so you don't have to be there when it arrives.
Do I need a dumpster permit from the city?
Yes, a permit is required if the dumpster is placed on a street, sidewalk or anywhere that is not private property. You can obtain a Right-of-Way Permit on Orlando's website. Keep in mind you don't need a permit to put the bin on your property.
Where does my trash go?
We take your trash to a number of landfills and transfer stations throughout Orlando, like the Orange County Landfill, located at 5901 Young Pine Road, and the McLeod and Porter Transfer Stations.
What happens if I need to toss heavy debris?
We have dumpsters designed to handle materials, like dirt, cement and other heavy debris. Simply tell us what you're tossing and we'll recommend the right size dumpster for the job. This way, you avoid a failed trip or overage fee that's caused by an overloaded bin.
Be sure to follow our tips on how to load your dumpster or contact us directly with any questions.
How do I know what not to put in my dumpster?
We'll go over any prohibited items when you order, whether it's by phone or online. While flammable, toxic and hazardous waste is never allowed in dumpsters, other items may be restricted by your local landfill. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Will you automatically pick up my dumpster at the end of my service date?
No, you will need to reach out by phone or online request form to notify us that your dumpster is ready for pickup. Generally, 7 to 10 days is the right amount of time to finish loading the bin, but contact us if you need to extend your rental period for any reason — we may be able to provide an updated daily rate.
What dumpster size is the most popular?
Our most rented dumpster size is a 20 yard roll off container. The bin can accommodate a range of projects, accepts most debris types and fits comfortably in many driveways, making it a popular choice.
