And then just as amazing was the gentleman that brought the dumpster to us, my dad even tried to give him a $40 tip, and he kindly refused. He was such a gentleman. Yes, you can toss household batteries, like AA, AAA and D. However, if you need to toss lithium batteries, go to the Central Transfer Station for Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off.
Do I need to be present at pickup?
No, you don't have to be there when we pick up the container. Just make sure the path is clear of obstructions and materials aren't hanging over the bin edges.
