FAQs
Do I need to put plywood on my delivery spot?
Plywood isn't necessary but it does help mark your delivery spot and protect pavement from scratches. Additionally, if any part of your dumpster needs to be on your lawn or other soft ground, the plywood will keep the bin from sinking and potentially getting stuck.
Can my dumpster block the sidewalk?
Yes, your dumpster can block the sidewalk with the appropriate permit from the city. Reach out to Wayne Township for more information on obtaining a permit. You don't need a permit if you put the bin on your property.
Can I mix landscaping debris with remodeling waste?
This depends on the landfill — each one decides what materials are accepted. We ask what you're tossing at the time of your order to make sure you get the right dumpster. Plus, we can plan ahead for disposal by selecting a landfill that will accept your waste.
Will my delivery driver have my contact information?
Yes, the driver may reach out when they're close to the delivery location. If you would like to request a call, let us know at the time of your order and we'll make a note. Just keep in mind that this depends on the hauler delivering your dumpster.
What happens if I damage my dumpster?
You may be charged a fee if you damage the container by staining or denting it. Be careful tossing items, like wet paint and heavy debris, to avoid potential damage.
