FAQs
What do I need to know before renting a dumpster?
Know the details of your project, like what you'll be tossing and where you'd like the bin placed. That way, we can recommend the right container for the job and give our drivers detailed placement instructions. When the container arrives, get to work loading it and reach out when you're done.
Do I need any permits to rent a dumpster in Apple Valley?
You will only need a permit if your dumpster is placed on a public street, walkway or other right-of-way. Contact Apple Valley's local municipal office for more information on getting an Obstruction Right-of-Way Permit.
Why don’t landfills accept florescent lightbulbs?
Fluorescent lightbulbs contain small amounts of mercury, so they can't go in a dumpster. Many landfills prohibit the disposal of these items, and they are required to be taken to the proper recycling facility in the state of Minnesota.
How do I know what my debris weighs?
We'll ask about your project and what you plan on tossing to gauge the weight of your debris. This helps us suggest the right bin size for the job. You can also use our dumpster weight calculators to get an estimate before you reach out.
How am I invoiced for my dumpster?
Your invoice will be sent to you after your order is processed. Remember that if your container exceeds the weight limit or you need to request an additional container, you may be charged additional fees. You’ll receive a second invoice via email notifying you of the amount of the charge and the reason.
