FAQs
How do I rent a dumpster for household debris?
Renting a dumpster for your household renovation or cleanout only takes a few simple steps. Share details of your project with our team and we'll provide a size recommendation for your needs. Just select a delivery date that works for you and make sure your drop-off area is clear of objects and debris. Then, get to work throwing away any waste and request a pickup online or by phone when you're done.
Learn more about how to prepare for your roll off dumpster delivery with our simple guide to renting dumpsters.
What is included in my dumpster rate?
Your bundled dumpster rate covers the costs associated with drop-off, pickup, a generous rental period as well as a covered weight limit. Keep in mind that your trash is subject to a variety of extra costs assessed by the landfill when we drop-off your trash. Don't worry. We'll go through the potential fees with you when you order so that you can avoid any unnecessary charges.
How do I choose a delivery location for my dumpster?
We recommend a location close to your project that is on concrete or another solid surface. Areas that are clear of obstructions like tree branches or basketball hoops are best for drop-off and pickup. When you reach out our team will ask for detailed delivery instructions so they can place the bin perfectly.
Am I allowed to have a dumpster in my driveway?
No permit is required if you are keeping the container on your property. You do however need to request a permit from the city if you're placing the dumpster on the street or in a location that blocks a public right of way. Visit the city of Cincinnati's website to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit.
Where does dumpster trash go?
Much of the trash disposed of in Cincinnati is taken to the Newton Landfill located at 7960 Batavia Road the next closest landfill is ACT Recycling.
What items can’t go inside a dumpster?
For your safety and the protection of the environment, flammable, toxic or any other hazardous waste is prohibited in our dumpsters. There may be additional restrictions depending on where you need service and the type of container you rent, but we'll go over any specific guidelines when you reach out.
Learn more about prohibited items, or give our team a call at 513-322-2971.
Do I have to make room for the dumpster to be delivered?
Yes. If your dumpster is being delivered to your driveway, make sure it is clear of obstructions, including cars, low-hanging tree branches and debris from your project.
If you request a street placement, be sure to block the spot off to prevent cars from parking there.
Keep in mind that if your delivery spot is not cleared, our drivers may not be able to drop off your dumpster, which would result in a trip fee.
How do I load my dumpster?
When loading a dumpster, ensure all debris is placed inside the container. Do not leave anything hanging over the sides or sticking out the top of the dumpster. This could delay your waste pickup because drivers cannot haul overloaded dumpsters.
