What are the steps to order a dumpster?
Get in touch and we'll talk through details like material type, recommended container size and availability in your location. We'll also go over bin placement instructions so you don't have to be present for the delivery.
What is an overage fee?
An overage fee occurs when the covered weight limit is exceeded. Keep in mind that some materials, such as dirt and shingles, are deceptively heavy, causing you to reach your weight limit before you've completely filled the bin. We'll provide a generous limit specific to your waste when you contact us.
How am I billed for my dumpster rental?
Once your order is processed, an invoice with your bundled rental rate will be emailed to you. If there are any added charges for things like a rescheduled pickup or prohibited items, you'll receive a second invoice.
How is the dumpster picked up?
Reach out when your container is ready and we'll schedule pickup. If you contact us outside of your rental period, there will be a charge for going over that timeframe. Rental periods are usually between 7-10 days.
Am I required to file for a permit with the city?
When your dumpster is on public property and blocking any right-of-way then you'll need to apply for a permit with the City of Richmond. However, if your container is on private land then don't worry about a permit.
