Yes, a permit is required if the container is placed on the street, sidewalk or anywhere that is not private property. Reach out to the city of Indianapolis for a Right-of-Way Permit. Depending on your location, we may need proof of a valid permit before we can deliver your container, and the city may require the permit to be displayed on the dumpster while in use.
