What does my dumpster price include?
Your dumpster rate covers the costs of delivery, pickup, a rental period and a covered weight limit. Please remember that if you request an additional container or go over your tonnage agreement, you may be charged an additional fee.
Do I need a permit to place a dumpster in my driveway?
No, a permit is only required if the container is placed on the street, sidewalk or any location that is not private property. In these instances, the dumpster permit must be obtained prior to placing your order. Contact the Town of Oyster Bay to complete an application.
Where does my trash go?
We take the majority of your trash to the Old Bethpage Solid Waste Disposal Complex located at 101 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road.
How do I avoid prohibited item fees?
The easiest way to avoid fees is to know what is and isn't allowed in our dumpsters. As a rule of thumb, nothing hazardous, flammable or toxic can be thrown in our bins. There may be additional restrictions at the landfill but we'll let you know any of these notes when you place your order.
How much can you toss in a 30 yard dumpster?
The 30 yard dumpster is one of our biggest sizes and is ideal for a variety of large-scale projects. The container can hold 3.5-7 tons, but the exact weight limit depends on the type of container you're renting and the materials you're tossing.
How do I load my dumpster?
Load your dumpster by opening the swinging door and walking heavy items, like furniture in first. Once you're done with the big items, toss smaller debris over the sides.
