How do I mark my delivery location?
We recommend placing down plywood or cones to clearly mark your delivery location. However, we'll take detailed placement instructions at the time of your order so we can place the bin where you want it, even if you can't mark your intended drop-off location. That way, you don't have to be there when the bin arrives.
How do I get a permit for a dumpster rental at my house?
If you are putting the dumpster in a public area, like a street or sidewalk, you'll need to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit with Chesterfield County. Keep in mind you won't need a permit if you choose to place the bin on your property.
How do I prevent other people from using my dumpster?
Place a tarp over the top of your bin and secure the sides with rope to prevent unwanted dumping, plus it provides weatherproofing. Selecting a location that is well-lit is helpful too.
How do I know what my debris weighs?
