Can I request an exact delivery date?
Yes, but there are some limitations. If you're requesting delivery within five business days, we'll do our best to get you a dumpster on that day. However, inventory drives exactly when we can make a delivery. As a result, we recommend reaching out a few days before your project begins to ensure we can hit your delivery timeline.
What costs are bundled in my price?
We take all the prices associated with your rental and combine them into one rate. This includes fixed expenses, like rental period and disposal costs, as well as variable rates, such as fuel charges and landfill fees.
Where do I get a permit if I need to put my dumpster in the street?
The city of Dana Point's Engineering Department handles Encroachment Permits for dumpsters that need to be placed on the road.
However, you won't need a permit if you choose to place the container on your property.
Where do you take my trash?
We take trash to a number of locations throughout the Dana Point area. Most trash goes to either the Prima Deshecha Sanitary Landfill, located at 32250 Avenida La Pata Avenue in San Juan Capistrano, or the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill, located at 11002 Bee Canyon Access Road in Irvine.
How does the landfill know if there are prohibited items in my dumpster?
Your trash is placed in a pile where it is sorted by landfill workers. This means that any prohibited items will be found. However, we'll let you know any specific restrictions when you place your order to help you avoid any issues.
How much can I toss in a dumpster?
Each dumpster size has a different capacity. One of the easiest ways to visualize this is with trash bags. Our smallest container, a 10 yard dumpster, can typically hold 50-70 contractor-grade 33-gallon trash bags, while our largest bin, a 40 yard dumpster, can usually hold 230-250 33-gallon trash bags.
How do I avoid trip fees?
Trip fees occur when our driver attempts to deliver or pick up a dumpster but is unable to. Usually, this is because there is something blocking the placement or pickup area, such as a car or locked fence. Please keep the area clear and accessible to ensure seamless service.
