Why Selecting the Correct Roll Off Dumpster Size Matters
Choosing the appropriate roll off dumpster size is important. Overloading your dumpster can cause you to exceed the weight limit and incur additional fees. If there is material hanging over the sides, and the dumpster cannot be picked up, you can be charged a trip fee and have to off-load some of the debris.
If you’re on the fence about which dumpster best suits your project, consider going up a size. For large demolition projects that require concrete disposal or removing heavy things like bathtubs, the weight adds up quickly. In most locations, dumpsters weighing more than 10 tons cannot be legally hauled on the road, so you may need to schedule an empty-and-return service for your roll off dumpster depending on the scope of your job.
