FAQs
What are the steps to rent a roll off dumpster?
Get in touch with our team and tell us what you're tossing. This way, we'll recommend the best bin size for the job and provide an upfront quote. Give us placement details, then — once the bin arrives — throw away debris as you work and let us know when you're done.
How should I prep my driveway for delivery?
When you set up your delivery, it's important that your drop-off site is clear of any objects and debris. Remove any vehicles, branches or recreational equipment that could get in the way. We recommend placing plywood to clearly mark the spot.
Is it expensive to rent a dumpster?
We have a variety of dumpster sizes that fit most budgets. Our upfront pricing includes all fees associated with your rental, including delivery, pickup, a rental period and a weight limit so you can keep your budget in check.
How expensive are dumpster permits?
The cost of a permit in California varies based on the type you need. Typically, these permits cost around $100 and are only necessary if you plan on placing your dumpster in a public right-of-way.
A dumpster permit is not needed if you plan on placing the bin on your driveway, but you'll need to reach out to the city of Cypress if you plan on placing the container elsewhere.
Where does my trash go?
A lot of Cypress area trash is taken to the CR Transfer and Material Recovery Facility, at 11232 Knott Avenue in Staton, and the Olinda Alpha Landfill, located at 1942 North Valencia Avenue.
Can I toss used oil?
No, oil is considered hazardous and isn't allowed in our containers for environmental and health concerns. If you need to get rid of used oil, we recommend looking into the Orange County Used Oil Recycling Program.
How much can I toss in a 20 yard dumpster?
Usually, you can toss 110-130 contractor-grade 33-gallon trash bags. Just watch your covered weight limit, and don't toss too much or you could incur an overage fee.
Will you automatically pick up my dumpster at the end of my service date?
No, we won't pick up your container until you tell us to. Keep in mind, if you hold onto the dumpster longer than expected, it will result in an additional fee.
